The Polyrachis ants above are one of the many golden polyrachis ant species. These were nesting in an inaccessible wall entering via a crack about 6 mtrs up the wall.
2 grams of Optigard Ant Bait Gel was used in each of 3 EasyBait ant bait stations. 4 days after installation, with no additional bait, the ants started leaving the nest and were not walking normally, in fact, many just fell down the wall. After 7 days the nest was dead. |
